Cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin further expands its portfolio with the announcement it will be listing peer-to-peer token transfer protocol 0x (ZRX).

The exchange now offers buying and selling of the assets as well as trading pairs for Bitcoin (ZRX/BTC) and Ethereum (ZRX/ETH).

0x is designed to facilitate the peer-to-peer transfer of Ethereum-based ERC20 tokens. It’s an open-source standard that provides interoperability between decentralized apps (DApps) on the Ethereum blockchain. Using the 0x protocol, developers can create DApps that access existing token liquidity pools or charge fees on liquidity pools they create.

The 0x project was initially conceptualized as a platform to support the trustless and decentralized exchange of an entire ecosystem of digital tokens that represent everything from games, currency, stock and even gold.

The project has been working to resolve some of the pitfalls that come with offering a decentralized exchange, such as governance and security. The system is modular and intentionally made available for constant upgrading and evolution.

The listing to adds to KuCoins list of available assets, with other recent notable additions including Tron and Stellar (XLM).
