The digital banking app Revolut has added two new cryptocurrencies to its ever-growing portfolio – Ripple and Bitcoin Cash. That brings it up to five currencies, with the other three being Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum.

Revolut provides the ability to exchange fiat directly into crypto and supports up to 25 global currencies including USD, GBP, EUR, CHF, HKD, AUD and NZD. Beyond the currencies that can be stored on the app, it also provides customers with the power to spend in over 150 currencies around the world – with no additional fees.
The app allows users to create alerts so they will be notified when one of their investments hits a certain value. This adds a certain level of safety for passive investors who don’t keep a watchful eye on the markets.
Revolut launched its new savings feature, Vaults, last week. It gives users the ability to round-off payments made on card to the nearest higher whole number and convert the remaining ‘spare change’ to a cryptocurrency of their choice.
Since its inception three years ago, the London based company have attracted 1.7 million customers. Earlier this month Revolut launched a physical bank card made of stainless steel that can apparently be used anywhere in the world with no fees.
